LA VIE: Mention the words, “mall,” “shopping,” or “department stores” and I am eager to explore. Paris is filled with amazing stores that delight my fashion senses. From small-to-large boutiques, upscale stores that contain everything, shoppers will have endless fun shopping in the “City of Light.”

Another fun activity is being inspired by boards and posts on Pinterest. I enjoy being around creative people and seeing what is new in fashion, beauty, and accessories. Recently, I looked at a Pinterest board and an acquaintance said, “The Pinterest app and Paris’ grand department stores make shopping more fun.” He had a point… sometimes I get so wrapped up in “pinning” that when I am out scouring what’s new in Paris, I seldom check the app for some of those amazing finds.

Recently I started connecting my Pinterest boards to my shopping excursions and am having so much fun! I picked up a few new scarves, a new handbag (or two, three, four…) and even decided not to buy a few things because I had similar styles at home.

Essentially, I am using Paris as my Fashion Book… Printemps department store (along with a few other ones) have been my official “fashion look book” to connect new, trendy looks to the inspiring pins I add on on Pinterest!
