Parisian Eats: The Fusion Flair of COJEAN

LA NOURRITURE: French food has an international appeal that makes most people smile. The mere mention of fresh breads, foie gras, savory sauces, and coq au vin are tasty delicacies abundantly available.

Also abundantly available are unlimited food destinations like bistros, specialty diners, sushi shops, and other quick service stops. While fast food locations are here to stay, there are other forms of casual-dining themed restaurants addressing the menu gaps traditional French cuisine does not cater towards.

One of my favorite destinations is Cojean, an eatery providing freshly prepared drinks, savory daily hot and cold meals, and flavors balanced for every appetite. With locations situated across Paris, I often feel like I am enjoying a new culinary experience each time I visit their eatery.

So what’s to love? Tasty bubble teas, smoothies, and fresh juices, risotto so creamy and flavorful, I am angry when it is all gone. The Asian Thai Chicken salad, my favorite, is a fresh blend of carrots, chicken, thai dressing, and other vegetables. Their
menu changes seasonally and includes the best varieties, which seem to celebrate timeless Parisian walks and outdoor socializing without the fuss.

Cojean’s staff is talented and polite. Dressed casually in pale blue T-shirts with an apron, their style is relaxed and helpful - a departure of the usual French attitude experienced at other eateries.
